To be perfectly clear, there are innumerous sites out there about budget travel and tips on how to stretch your dollar…this is not one of those.

There are an unlimited number of travel sites dedicated to the same cultural sites every travel book has listed for a thousand years…this is not one of those.

If you want suggestions on hostels or regular museums or the hotel that has the best doilies and chandeliers, use google, or call Mr. Frommer (love ya buddy).

For us, travel is an experience. It’s about using your dollars because you are traveling. Save at home. Be inhibited in your home town where there are people whose judgement you worry about. You can be different when you travel. You can be more fun. You can have more fun. Can fun get dirty? If you’re lucky it can, because most cultures are a lot less dainty than your stuck up culture, and you are not better off for it. Trust me I know. Do I like everything that I do or try, of course not, that’s the whole fucking point. Does this ABOUT section mean anything? I’m not totally sure, but maybe you just know a like minded person when you see em.

PS, it may be a huge accomplishment and may be the most expertly crafted painting etc etc etc, but for example, as a tourist stop, the Mona Lisa is dumb as shit and a total and complete waste of time. Unless of course, you like that sort of thing, in which case, find a new site you square.
