Spain - Malaga
Cobblestone streets were cool but overall the town feels too resorty. Not that it’s a big deal, but prices were super high comparatively. Like everywhere else in Spain had great wines for cheap…except for Malaga.
The Marques De Larios area has plenty of restaurants and shops and a number of cool squares off it, but it does feel “fabricated” in a weird way.
Notes to self:
-No need to return, unless like this time it’s a jumping off point…very close to lots of cool stuff.
Molina Lario Malaga - May 2015
Perfect location right next to the Cathedral. Walking distance to anything you want. This place parks your car for you, which was simply bliss. Lobby has a restaurant and a bar with a giant outdoor atrium. Mini bar was fine. Their “giant soaking tub” was really just a tub. Pretty basic room. They do have a rooftop pool (but it’s very loungey with couches and no chaises) which was small but cool with cheap drinks at the bar. The view from here is unbeatable. 360 degrees of ocean/old town cool (looking over the Cathedral as well). No pay per view. Hard wood floors were nice.
Notes
-$150 a night. 20 bucks for parking.
