US - Asheville

Everyone loves Asheville!!! I did not
I mean it was fine. Many of the shops are cool. The brewery scene is definitely cool. But it just feels like a mountain town without the cool snow scene. It’s small but yet it’s still spread out. They couldn’t plan for a main drag? I was a bit disappointed about that.

Anyway, we had a good time at wicked weed brewery. We had some good mexican food right in the main-ish square. We walked around and saw just about everything. It was fine.

Notes to self:

-The Renaissance is not exactly in the center of town, even though they like to say it is…

Renaissance Asheville - Jul 2016

Room was comfy enough but I wouldn’t stay here again. The location isn’t even honestly that great. Best location appears to be Aloft, but it wasn’t available for us.
They had room service but it was limited, they had pay per view but nothing adultish, the mini bar but nothing in it.
$200.

Notes

-There are many better options including a spa in the surrounding area. A day visit to Asheville is all you need anyway.
