Switzerland - Interlaken

Can you believe he did those things?! Anyway, Interlaken is great for outdoors stuff. Having just gone to Lauterbrunnen I would say it is far more my style at this point, but the allure of Interlaken for young people is hard to overstate. It’s a backpackers dream and a great way to try new things and meet new people.

Balmer’s Herberge - 2001

This is probably the only hostel I recommend on this site. But I was 22, and it was perfect. I highly recommend, if you are 22, and thus can’t really do anything else on here that I recommend :)

I don’t think they say “Herberge” anymore (they just say hostel), but it’s cooler that way.
