Napa is actually pretty awesome. It's expensive, and it's fairly simple, but it is awesome.
Their main drag is maybe 7 or blocks long and it's full of restaurants and shops. It's too far on the nicer side of things but there's some regular places too. not much fast casual and the likes of that.
Yountville is a special gem in this area. Obviously home to the French Laundry, but it has a tone of great placees and I thought it had a better, small town feel to it than Napa.

Most of the hotels are centrally located and the Westin was no exception. Outside of having to cross over the river each time it was a pretty perfect location.

Lastly, wine tasting kind of sucks right? I mean if you're a douche, and you like to douche over douchey things with other douches, then maybe wine tasting is perfect for you. But I think I'm done.
We went to The Priest tasting room, Honig, Gamble, and Trevethan.
Honig was fine and down to earth, and maybe even fun, but overall it's just sooooooo boring. Trevethan was in a private room with exclusive VIP treatment, GGGGGAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGG. I mean it's just you sitting in a quiet room slowly sniffing and tasting wine with someone who can't afford the very wines they're peddling. Blegh.

Notes to self:

-Bouchon is a must do. Such a perfect place.
-Oxbow market is rad and a must do.
-Extra credit for model bakery which is part of the Oxbow market and is extra rad.
-Morimoto was great.
-Oakville grocery was pretty great. You've been to that country store before, but still pretty great.

Westin Verasa - Jul 2018

For starters we had giant rooms. Giant.
1 was upgraded from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom, and one regular king was upgraded to a 1 bedroom. Sick rooms.
The 2 bedroom overlooked the river and the pool with a gigantic balcony. The other one overlooked a courtyard with an equally impressive balcony.
Huge kitchens and living areas with 2 nice sized bathrooms, though I thought the glass showers could of been bigger and more pornstar.

This place is pretty big and very well located. The pool area is central and nice. Overall it always felt a little barren, though Napa kind of feels like that anyway.
